A Mad Hatter’s Ball will take place in March to raise funds for the National Autistic Society, The British Heart foundation, and Mind.

The event will be held at Barmbyfields Barn, near Barmby Moor, on Saturday 24 March.

There will be lots of entertainment featuring the amazing band The Village Idiots.

The event’s dress code is formal with a twist and attendees are being asked to let their imaginations run wild.

Caroline Longley, who is organising the ball, is also appealing for raffle prizes to bring in even more funds for the three charities on the evening.

Caroline said: “All three charities mean a great deal to me as my four year old daughter is autistic and my 18 year old son had a heart operation when he was three weeks old.

“I also know a lot of people who have suffered from mental health issues.

“Following the first ball last year, which raised more than £3,500 for the National Autistic society and Cash for Kids, I am hoping to do better this time around.”

Tickets for the charity event cost £25. Food is not included in the ticket price, but will be available on the evening, provided by lovehogroast.com and Swirlz.
