The Saturday 9 April Chris Clubley and Co sale includes a good selection of Robert E Fuller prints from a local private collector.
The 24 lot collection includes two originals, one of a terrier dog, the other of a fox in long grass.
Robert E Fuller originals do not often appear in the saleroom.
Excitement is growing to see the hammer price they will achieve.
The 23 prints are all in outstanding condition, well framed and wall ready to hang.
Subjects vary from a hare in leaves, a fox in a hedgerow, two barn owls, gold crests, a highland cow with calf and a red squirrel.
Nearly all the prints are limited edition and signed in pencil by the artist.
The sale also includes a good collection of furniture including a late 19th chiffonier and an early 20th Century partner’s desk.
A pine food cupboard and an array of leather furniture.
Other lots range from a “barn find” tin plate child’s car, two Bang Olufsen TVs, a guitar, a pair of deer antlers, a copper coal box, Border Fine Arts and Beswick.
A catalogue will be available online via www.chrisclubley.co.uk/auctions/ the week of the sale. Viewing is on sale day from 10am.
The sale starts at 1pm with outside lots (plants at 12.30pm). Entries are now being accepted for Saturday 14 May sale.
