Last Sunday I visited the North Cave Wetlands site run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
The work that the Trust do is fantastic and in a short time it has created a great place to enjoy a stroll and check out the wildlife.
The people at the nature reserve were very friendly and the weather was excellent for this time of the year. The bacon butties from the mobile cafe were also a treat after a walk around the site.
After this we checked out North Cliffe Wood.
This was also very pleasant, although it was started to get a little damp as the day came to a close.
Unfortunately I left the wood very angry as some mindless fly-tipper had left a pile of household waste near one of the entrances.
These people are complete idiots. I hope the council investigates this.
