In Bloom judges returning to Pock

Pocklington will welcome back Yorkshire in Bloom judges on 17 July when they carry out their summer judging of the town.

The judges commence their visit at Burnby Hall Gardens and will visit The Balk, Regent Street, All Saints’ Church and the war memorial on Grape Lane. They then make their way through the town centre and will visit the Infant School, on Maxwell Road, where the Garden Gang have entered another part of the competition.

The judges will then travel to the allotments on The Mile and return via Garths End, Yapham Road and George Street. During the early part of that week they will judge front gardens in the town to find an overall winner, who will receive a handmade rosebowl.
