Housebuilder Barratt Developments Yorkshire East has been leaving green footprints across the region this year through its environmental friendly attitude towards homebuilding.

The division, which has the Pavilion Square development in Pocklington, built 745 new homes during 2017.

A conscious effort was made to support the local environment, with 73,400 trees and shrubs planted or retained on developments and 94% of construction waste recycled.

Peter Morris at Barratt said: “We work hard to create developments with materials and practices that promote environmentally- friendly results.”
