Villagers in Holme-on-Spalding Moor are gearing up for the first Holme Grown Weekend on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June.
Among the events taking place on Saturday will be a tea dance at the village hall from 2.30pm to 6pm, costing £4.50 to enter, which includes tea, sandwiches and cakes.
On the same day there will be a casino night at the Blacksmiths Arms from 8pm.
On Sunday, there will be an open gardens event and more than 50 scarecrows on display around the village, both from 10am to 4pm. Both will start from the village hall, where maps will be available.
There will also be a cookery competition and bake off on Sunday at the village hall, with the deadline for entries at 10.30am. This will be followed by a fun run, starting at 2pm from the village hall, and afterwards people can enjoy a picnic on the playing fields.
On both days, there will be a fun fair at the Blacksmiths Arms from 2pm.
