A heritage project which has been collecting photos, newspaper cuttings, stories and documents of the village is hosting another collection day.
The Shiptonthorpe Heritage Project will hold the collection day on Saturday (21 May) between 10.30am until 12.30pm in the Village Hall, Shiptonthorpe.
The group have been collecting everything to help piece together a history of the village.
Those wishing to share their stories and memories are welcome on the day for refreshments and a chat while any cuttings and photos are scanned in.
The group fundraised to buy a scanner and a hard drive to archive everything collected. The project is the biggest in the history of the village and hopes to create a digital archive.
