St Leonard’s Hospice, which now has a support group running in Pocklinton, is looking for runners to raise funds and join their team for running events this year – the York 10k and the Yorkshire Marathon.

The charity has guaranteed places available for anyone that is able to run, jog, walk or crawl around the course as part of the hospice team.

This year, the York 10k is on Sunday 5 August and the Yorkshire Marathon is on Sunday 14 October.

Sarah Atkinson, community fundraiser at St Leonard’s Hospice said “We’d love to hear from people interested in running for Team St Leonard’s. You’ll be cheered on all the way by our fantastic team and our supporters who look out for anyone running for us.”
