A packed programme of events has been arranged for this weekend’s Newtonbury Music Festival.
Chicago Joe and the Soul Divas will kick off this year’s event, which starts tomorrow (Friday 22 June), at 7pm at the Half Moon Inn, Newton on Derwent.
The elevated stage and outside bar inside a large marquee will provide a unique setting for an action packed weekend of music and fun.
The awesome and accomplished Chis Berry band are headlining Friday’s show with a great evening of rock and roll music and dancing as the ideal start for the festival.
The Saturday section of the festival starts at 2pm with a family fun bus, the Ravens Morris punk goth dancers, and all-day BBQ in the beer garden.
The Mothers Acoustic are billed as ‘not to be missed’ at 3pm, followed by the unique sound of guitarist and songwriter Andy Stones.
The rock music arrives with local group Last Man Standing playing a wide range of up tempo covers which every music enthusiast can enjoy.
The evening will reach a crescendo as the Supermodels bring their incredible talent to Newton on Derwent and entertain everyone with a set of songs delivered in their own unique fashion.

Tickets are available now priced at £5 for Friday and £10 for Saturday.
