THE villages of East and West Lutton were buzzing with bargain hunters over the weekend, when the local branch of the Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association hosted a garage sale trail.
The event was staged to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Bargain hunters were provided with maps which indicated locations where goods were on sale at around 15 stalls spread across the two villages.
Visitors travelled to the village from far and wide and the base for the event was St Mary’s Church in West Lutton, at which refreshments, toilets and some stalls were available.
The event was also designed to highlight the two villages, which are highly regarded by locals for their beauty.
