Visitors to the KP Club in Kilnwick Percy joined The Box Health and Fitness Studio Team for a charity pancake race and had a flipping great time.
About 30 people took part, and teams of four battled it out in a number of challenges with the winners receiving four vouchers to dine in the KP Club’s restaurant. Each team paid a £10 entry fee, with all proceeds going to Marie Curie Cancer Care. About £60 has been raised so far for the charity.
Challenges included a pictionary game, fitness activities and golfing games on The KP’s practice green.
Dan Littlewood, Health and Fitness Manager from the The Box at The KP, said: “It was great to see a strong turn out of local families supporting a great cause and donating generously.
“Everyone loved it and much fun was had by the children who ended up doing the course a few times.”
After the event, which was held last Sunday, entrants enjoyed eating pancakes.
