All five people are now in custody in police stations in the Humberside force area and are being interviewed by detectives.
Humberside Police Detective Chief Inspector Mike Reed said: “The arrests today are the culmination of a year long operation aimed at bringing people who deal and traffic drugs to justice.
“The people in custody will be interviewed about their involvement and a decision will be taken about any charges in relation to the criminal offences they have committed.
“People who deal and traffic drugs damage our communities and we take investigations of this kind extremely seriously.
“Hopefully we will be able to give more information about the investigation tomorrow and Saturday.”
