Fangfoss Pottery was changed into the set of “Ghost the Musical” when the two main actors visited to get a feel of the pottery and take part in a promotional photoshoot.
Pottery owner Lyn Grant said: “Ghost is a dramatic love story.
“Walking back to their apartment one night, Sam and Molly are mugged, leaving Sam with fatal injuries. He returns as a ghost and tries to help Molly when he learns she is in grave danger.
“Where the pottery bit comes in, is that Molly is a potter, and the potter’s wheel appears in several scenes. Both actors got into the role of Ghost, sitting at the potter’s wheel, looking lovingly at one another.
“The only thing that was missing was the Unchained Melody music.”
Ghost the Musical is being staged by York Stage Musicals.
Fangfoss Pottery will be participating in the Pocklington Area Open Studios programme on Saturday and Sunday 7 and 8 May.
