A feast of musical talent will be on show in Pocklington this weekend.
Community theatre group Pocklington Productions is holding its first event, ‘A Jolly Lovely Cabaret Evening’, at Burnby Hall on Saturday from 7pm. Performing on the evening will be York band KAYA, who play original catchy and melodic material. There will also be performances from Steve Cassidy, who is very popular in the York area and singer-songwriter Holly Sheridan. Added to this mix are some local acts, including Mike Gledhill from Pocklington and Emily Charlton, from Market Weighton, who will be joined by Tony Flavell from Pocklington Productions. Tickets cost £6, and are available from Pocklington Music on Market Street.
