Youngsters put their cycling skills to the test

Youngsters from two local primary schools hopped on their bikes and enjoyed an afternoon of cycling activities to celebrate the start of the Tour de France in Yorkshire this weekend.

Children from South Cave Primary School cycled to North Cave Primary where pupils from both schools took part in the Cycle4Life Challenge, organised by East Riding Council.

The Key Stage 2 children enjoyed cycling on the ramps of a mobile bike track and then watched the Mountainbike Action Display team (MAD) perform tricks and stunts.

Nancy Smart, from North Cave Primary, said: “They really enjoyed it.”
