Pupils at primary schools in the area egg-celled at traditional Easter games recently.
Warter Primary held an Easter egg rolling competition, while Stamford Bridge Primary held an egg throwing contest, with chocolate treats for grabs at both schools.
Youngsters at Warter Primary decorated eggs and rolled them down a hill, and those who rolled their eggs across the finish line first won an Easter egg. There was a winner in every class.
Stamford Bridge Primary pupils threw their decorated eggs towards a target, and those who tossed their egg nearest to the target also won an Easter egg. A competition for boys, and another for girls, were held.
