Kind-hearted pupils at a school in the Pocklington area have managed to collect 45 shoeboxes for charity.
Children, parents and governors at Warter School have collected the shoeboxes to donate to Link to Hope, which is a Christian Charity established in 1991.
This charity is dedicated to rebuilding lives and communities in Eastern Europe by supporting Education and Social Care projects in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
This year the children have prepared a fantastic 45 boxes, with many families donating items to create boxes or generously creating their own family boxes. The children have enjoyed sharing the items for the boxes and wrapping carefully for the long journey ahead.
The school would like to thank all the children and parents for their kindness in supporting this charitable initiative.
