A DINNER lady who has been stirring pots and dishing up food for 37 years has hung up her apron for the last time.
Dawn Murray, from Barmby Moor, has retired from her job at Woldgate College where she first started working in January 1974.
The 64-year-old was a popular person at the school according to Martin Helbrow, a member of the school’s catering team.
He said: “She is a popular member of staff.
“She has seen many changes and many authorities and contractors.
“She started out with East Riding Council originally. She has never worked at any other school.
“She will be missed.”
