Attention readers – do any of you remember a Christmas Album with eight tracks created by Pocklington Junior School pupils back in 1983?

The work, which was sold on cassettes, were sold to raise funds for the school.

The offering, entitled “The Christmas Album” saw some local musicians play on the tape, including Roger Pattison, Chris Norton and Paul Richardson.

Andrew Whittle said: “The composer of the music was the teacher of the school, an Australian I think. The pupils who starred would be around 41 to 45 now.”
