This year’s Pocklington Summer Carnival will see a TV personality join the festivities on the West Green this weekend.
DJ Dizzy Twilight (Britain’s Got Talent) will be attending the carnival which is held this Sunday (29 July) from noon to 8pm.
Organised by Pocklingtopn Town Council, the yearly event raises funds for the mayor’s charities.

A spokesman said: “We will have various stalls, food and drink, activities for kids including Barmby Bouncers, bungee trampolines, Sam’s Safaris, free crafts between 1pm and 4pm, free circus skills all afternoon with Magic Carpet and live music into the evening.”
