Derwent Lions Club’s ‘Rocking Rudolph’ Christmas sleigh will be out collecting for local and international causes over the coming days.
A collection will be held in Seaton Ross today, with the funds going to Louise Brent, who lives in the village. Louise needs specialist treatment in America for an arteriovenous malformation on her face, a rare type of birthmark which causes serious bleeds. There will also be collections in Stamford Bridge on the evenings of 20 and 21 December. Funds from one of these collections will be donated to the Stamford Bridge Swimming Pool improvement fund.
