‘Delays prove rail line is needed’, say campaigners

CAMPAIGNERS say major delays to rail travel in East Yorkshire caused by the recent landslip at Hatfield highlights the need for the York to Beverley rail link to be re-opened.

The Minsters’ Rail Campaign fears the landslip near Doncaster could cause delays to East Yorkshire rail destinations, including Hull, Bridlington and Scarborough, into the summer.
