Cycling enthusiasts are gearing up to take part in a sportive next week.
The fifth annual Pock Pedal will be held on 28 May, and is being organised by the Clifton Cycling Club of York in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Pocklington.
Each entrant will leave via an electronic timing gate and return through the barrier to complete the process.
There is a choice of three routes - 100 miles, 60 miles and 25 miles.
The start and finishing point is the Henry Thirsk Amenity Centre on The Balk in Pocklington.
The money raised will go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Rotary charities. The event starts at about 8am, with cyclists tackling the longer routes leaving first.
