Crisis in Crimea and immigration cause heated debates during Radio 4s Any Questions? in Pocklington

The set of Radio 4 looked very much at home in Pocklington School’s Tom Stoppard Theatre last Friday, which hosted the topical debate programme ‘Any Questions?’.

It was fantastic to see the auditorium so full, as we were warmly welcomed by two of the show’s producers, who, before the session began, asked the audience for feedback on the BBCs coverage of rural events.

Drawing on the recent example of the nation-wide flooding, the audience highlighted a bias towards the south, and it was pleasing to see our opinions being taken into consideration.
