A convenience store in Stamford Bridge has been raided for the fourth time in about four months.

Three men broke into the Co-op store at about 12.45am in the early hours of this morning (14 May) and stole £800 worth of cigarettes.

The thieves made off from the scene in a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

A member of staff at the store, who did not want to be named, said: “They smashed the glass out of the windows and climbed through there. They went to the kiosk and smashed the locks of the metal shutters.

“They don’t tend to take anything else but the cigarettes.

“Then they leave. They are straight in and straight out.

“It’s the fourth time in about four-and-a-half months.”

The incident was captured on the store’s CCTV, which is being analysed by Humberside Police.

Anyone with information should call Humberside Police on 101 and quote Log 13 of 14/05/13.
