Come and have a hoot at new owl trust centre

A new Falconry Centre and Owl Sanctuary will be opening its doors in South Cave this month.

Couple Peter and Ann O’Brien have more than 20 rescue birds, including both rare indigenous owls and rescued birds from many other countries.

Peter has spent thousands of pounds building aviaries for each bird on the 80-acre site at Rudstone Walk and, thanks to the support of local firms Humberside Aggregates and Arbor Forest Products, he has been able to afford the best materials needed to house these large birds.
