Pocklington Fairtrade and Local Produce Action Group (FLAG) held a successful event at Pocklington All Saints church.
The event raised £85 with £25 of the final total donated to the church.
The rest will go towards a £150 investment in ‘Shared Interest’, an ethical investment co-operative which aims to alleviate poverty by enabling people in disadvantaged communities to trade and earn a living.
A FLAG spokeswoman said: “We would like to thank everyone who was involved in our event. A number of people tried Fairtrade products and bought goods from the stall.”
