A TWINKLE-TOED tot has been accepted into a prestigious ballet school after a series of successful auditions.
Chloe Willis from Wilberfoss will be attending the Northern Ballet School in Leeds from September after being chosen ahead of hundreds of other hopefuls.
The 10-year-old, who attends St Martin’s Primary School in Fangfoss at the moment, will be taught by some of the best instructors in the world.
She has been a pupil at the Elliot School of Dance in Pocklington for over four years, and her teacher, Tamla Gray, says that she has the talent to go on to succeed in the world of ballet.
She said: “Chloe has worked incredibly hard to achieve her place, she is very dedicated and is determined to become a ballerina. She is very talented and everyone at the Elliot School of Dance is very proud of her.
“There were more people auditioning this year because the Northern Ballet School has just moved to their state-of-the-art building, so it was really tough. They usually only take a maximum of 12 pupils each year so for her to be given a place is exceptional.”
