Wilberfoss Community Centre will be the place to be this summer if your child is interested in the theatre.

Theatreland Workshops is coming to Wilberfoss between Monday 23 July and Friday 27 July (10am and 3.30pm each day).

The workshops give young people aged between seven and 17 the chance to work with inspiring professionals from across the business.

The week will be led by Rachel Knowles (OFFIE nominated – best supporting actress – The Tailor Made Man, Spamalot West End, Betty Blue Eyes, UK Tour) and Ryan Limb (Evita, Spamalot, UK Tour).

The week will culminate in a showing of the young company’s work on the Friday afternoon.

Rachel said: “I am thrilled to be leading this workshop in Wilberfoss this summer with actor and creative Ryan Limb.

“I am very passionate about providing inspiring theatre workshops for children around the country giving them the chance to work with industry pros.

“There were never any opportunities like this when I was a young aspiring actress growing up in Yorkshire!

“Whatever your ability you will be pushed to a new performance level. We will cover musical production numbers, acting pieces, audition technique, choreography, singing technique.

“The week is all about confidence building and celebrating every child’s unique talents.”
