Pocklington Arts Centre (PAC) has been shortlisted in three categories of the 2018 Yorkshire Gig Guide Grassroots Awards – and now it needs the public’s support.

PAC is in the running to be named ‘Yorkshire Outstanding Large Live Venue’, PAC director Janet Farmer has been shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Individual Contribution of 2018’ category, and the venue’s 2017 Platform Festival is in the running to be crowned ‘Yorkshire Outstanding Small Festival’.

James Duffy, venue manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been nominated. We are really proud of all that we have achieved.”

Voting closes on 31 August, with the awards ceremony due to be held on Sunday 7 October. You can cast your vote at http://yorkshiregigguide.co.uk/grass-roots-awards-2015.html to show your support for PAC.
