I can hardly believe it is already the end of another school year and what a busy one it has been! Sports Day was a great success and the weather fantastic.
The PTA ran an excellent summer fair after the event which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
We had great fun making a scarecrow for the village Scarecrow Festival. Lots of fun and teamwork was involved.
We have just been on a whole school trip to Dalby Forest to support our work on The Great Outdoors.
We explored the stream, identifying the creatures we collected, before returning them to their habitat and measuring the flow of the water.
A picnic lunch followed and an opportunity to explore the adventure playground. In the afternoon we used our maps for an orienteering exercise and completed the day with an ice lolly as a treat from the PTA.
Everyone had great fun.
Once again we took part in the Concert and picnic at Sledmere house along with the other Wagoners Schools from the area.
It was a glorious evening and the children sang beautifully. It really is a very special event.
We will shortly be saying goodbye to our year six children and we wish them all well for the future
