Gin lovers are being given the chance to get into the spirit as they enjoy live tunes from popular singer Chris Berry at The Mile Farm Shop.
Following the success of the first two G&T (Gin and Therapy and Gin and Tunes) events that raised over £400 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a second musical fundraiser will take place on Friday 24 August with live, acoustic music from Hull-born singer, Chris Berry.
Singer and guitarist Chris’ set list includes a mix of his own songs and cover versions of popular tunes from a range of eras.
Co-owner of the Mile Farm Shop in Pocklington, Jo Barnes said: “We were very keen to run another event to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and we had such a great night with Chris in March that we decided to repeat it. Hopefully the weather will be good and people will be able to make the most of our outdoor areas too.
“Chris’s recent solo tour raised almost £1,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance so it will be great to work together to give something back to the team who work tirelessly to raise the funds to keep the air ambulances running.”
Tickets for the Gin and Tunes Taster Evening cost £12 and are available from the farm shop, or can be reserved over the phone by calling 01759 305420.
For each ticket sold, £2 will be donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
There will also be refreshments and food on the night.
