Barmby Feast is an event in the village calendar that is close to many residents’ hearts as it has been running for countless years.
This year Barmby Feast weekend will open on 17 July with the traditional fair on the village green, which runs to the Sunday evening, and the annual Feast opening drum march through the village, led this year by Henry Lucas.
On 18 July, the traditional Victorian Fun Run will start at 7pm heralded by the town crier.
Anyone who wants to join the fun run should sign up at The Boot and Slipper. Participants will receive a free pie and pea supper and the winner a yard of ale.
