Marie Curie nurses across the East Riding have paid tribute to everyone who supported and donated to this year’s Great Daffodil Appeal.

Collectively, volunteers and supporters raised almost £2,500 through street and supermarket collections in Pocklington and Market Weighton. This figure is set to grow as more daffodil boxes are counted.

Marie Curie Community Fundraiser, Natalie Atherley, said: “The charity relies on charitable donations, so I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has given their time and money this year.”
