Police are appealing for the owner of a Rottweiler to get in touch after a woman was bitten on her arm in Pocklington.

A 44-year-old woman was left with minor injuries following the incident, which happened shortly after 9pm on Wednesday March 15, in Percy Road.

The dog owner is described as a white man, in his twenties, of short and stocky build and wearing a dark coat and a beanie hat.

Humberside Police reported that the man stopped and spoke to the victim following the incident.
