Everyone can picture a glass decanter.

Sitting on the sideboard with a rare scotch brandy, or the like, contained inside. An object once frequently used but now used little except for those special occasions.

Decanters with their varying form and interesting history can provide a positive collecting field. Not only are they decorative but they can be practicable for those special occasions and everyday use.
