A LIGHTHOUSE in Yorkshire was used as the romantic setting for a marriage proposal by visiting German tourists.
Timon proposed to his girlfriend, Natali at Flamborough lighthouse near Bridlington.
The team at Sewerby Hall and Gardens on the outskirts of Bridlington arranged the visit and Natali was unaware of the plans.
Champagne, candles and balloons were all waiting for her at the top of the lighthouse, and thankfully for Timon, Natali said yes!
Timon said: “We both know each other from our local church in Bonn (Germany) and met about two years ago.
“After a long time of coming to know each other and being ‘just good friends’ we fell in love and decided to start a serious relationship at the end of August of this year.
“Since this point of time I love Natali more day by day. We complete each other so astonishingly that I realised more and more that this is the woman I want to live with and spend the rest of my life with.
