Plans to build 99 new houses in Market Weighton will go before at East Riding Council‘s planning committee today (13 February).

The proposed site for the development is on land off Wicstun Way to the southwest of Market Weighton. Access to the proposed development will be primarily taken through Wicstun Way, but a secondary access is also taken from Hawling Road.

It has been recommended that the plans be deferred pending the completion of a Section 106 Agreement to secure contributions towards the delivery of affordable housing, highways infrastructure and public open space.
