Local pair get married

Fiona Outhwaite, daughter of John and Ann Outhwaite of Barlby, and Daniel Gowthorpe, the son of Roger and Anne Gowthorpe of North Cliffe were married on 4 June 2011 at St. Helen’s Church, Escrick.

The bride wore a dress of ivory satin with diamante and pearl details with train and veil and carried a bouquet of ivory roses, lilies and freesias.

She was attended by Helen Outhwaite, Sarah Monks, Stephanie Guy and Nicola Brown, who wore dresses of platinum raw silk in a Tea-dress style.

She was given away by her father.

The groom had Toby Clack, Tom Abbott and Pete Hall as his best men.

Following the service, which was conducted by Reverend Robb Wainwright, the couple had a reception at The Oaks, before leaving for Mexico.

The bride is a dental nurse and the groom is a farmer.
