Burnby Hall gets ready for the new season
Burnby Hall has updated its information for visitors following the Government’s road map out of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Up to Monday, March 29, the venue is open 10am to 4pm for local exercise only.
Entry for non-members is by pre-booking only using the link on the hall’s website homepage www.burnbyhallgardens.com.
Members do not need to pre-book to visit.
The venue’s existing Covid-19 safety measures, including the one-way clockwise route around the gardens, will remain in place and the toilets are open.
Up to Wednesday, March 31, the reduced entrance price for non-members of £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for children remains in place.
The new season will then commence from Thursday, April 1 when the hall will open seven days a week from 10am to 5.30pm. The children’s play area will also be fully open from this date.
The Lilypad Cafe will remain closed until Monday, April 12 but is providing a takeaway service.
The gift shop also re-opens on Monday, April 12 in ‘an exciting new format’.
The Stewart Museum is slated to re-open from Monday, June 21.
A spokesman said: “We would like to thank our members and visitors for their support and understanding during this period and we continue to ask everyone to stick to the rules.
“We’re looking forward to the new season and being able to run events and concerts after Monday, June 21.
“We’re also looking forward to welcoming more visitors back to the gardens as restrictions are lifted in the next few months.”
