BUDDING young actors were flying high after performing a Peter Pan production in front of a sell out crowd.
The show, called Peter Pan and Friends, was organised by a local drama group known as Anna James Youth Drama and was held at the Pocklington Arts Centre.
The production included a cast of over 50 children, aged 6-11 years-old, which included 19 youngsters from a dance group called Stride Dance.
Anna Coppinger, who runs Anna James Youth Drama with her brother James, said: “It went really well. We sold out all the tickets. The children were absolutely fantastic. I hope they had a good time.
“We had always hoped it would be a sell out. It was lovely to have the parents’ support. To be honest it went in a bit of a flash. Me and James were backstage and didn’t get to see anything but you could feel it.
“There was a really good atmosphere. A real excitement. Some of the children were absolutely buzzing.”
