SEN team at The Market Weighton School steps up to raise £1,335 for autism cause
The Market Weighton School’s SEN team members recently took place in this year’s Walk for Autism, where they had to complete a minimum of 10,000 steps per day over eight days.
The ladies raised an impressive £1,335 for the worthy cause during the challenge.
A school spokesman said: “We would like to thank everyone who supported the team’s efforts.
“The team is now focusing on fundraising for a sensory garden for our enhanced provision to support students with autism.
“Any contributions to this project would be very welcome. Please contact the school by emailing [email protected] if you can help in any way.”
