The Shiptonthorpe restaurant has raised the sum through generous donations made by the customers via collection boxes in the drive thru, the self-order kiosks and the My McDonald’s app.

Franchisee Mike O’Reilly, who owns and operates the restaurant in Shiptonthorpe, said: “I’ve supported RMHC UK for eight years and once again, I’m amazed at how kind and generous the people of Shiptonthorpe are. Many customers round up their orders at the self-order kiosks or donate through the drive-thru boxes and it really does add up.

“We’re proud to have raised a total of over £3,300.”
