Robot Art Workshop, Pocklington Arts Centre, 10am-12pm. Come and join the crafty team at Pocklington Arts Centre to create your very own recycled robot. For ages 5+. We have a wide range of interesting and unusual materials for you to use. Please contact the Box Office on 01759 301547 to book your place. £ 5.00 per child, includes juice and a biscuit.

Pocklington Ramblers, meet at Burnby Hall Gardens at 10am for an 11-mile walk.

Barmby Moor Playing Fields Association AGM, Sports Pavilion, 6pm. Anyone wishing to attend will be welcome.

TUESDAY 17 JANUARY

A sweet tale and a forked tail - an illustrated talk by Nigel Puckrin about the history of British sugar and the red kites in the Wolds, Millington village hall, 7.30pm.

Pocklington Ramblers, meet at Market Weighton car park at 10am for a 10-mile walk.

THURSDAY 19 JANUARY

True Grit film night, North Newbald village hall, 7.30pm. We will be serving tasty nibbles to get you in the mood for the film. Please let Denise know if you are want food by calling 01430 827493.
