MINSTER FM broadcaster Louisa Maher of Pocklington is celebrating after the radio station scooped a top national award.
For the second year in a row, the UKRD group, of which Minster FM is a part, grabbed the number one spot in the The Sunday Times’ top hundred list of best companies to work for in the country.
Independent inspectors have spent the last few months scrutinising bosses and staff at its base in York along with its fifteen sister stations across the UK from Cornwall to Sunderland.
The company garnered top marks in 48 categories, meaning it was judged outstanding on almost every key indicator used by judges and Louisa, 26, who lives on The Balk said: “This is an immense achievement for Minster FM.
“We work hard to deliver results for our clients and produce memorable and entertaining programming for our listeners.
“I’m proud to be part of a team which delivers this day in, day out. For me the highlight of this last year has been recognising the achievements of people from our area at our Local Hero Awards which were bigger and better than ever before.”
