RESIDENTS are being invited to take part in a table top sale at Pocklington Arts Centre.
The event will be held on Saturday, 10 March and any items can be displayed for sale.
If you have a pile of books that you would like to get rid of or clothes that you no longer wear, then the sale is an opportunity for you to have a clear out and make a few quid in the process.
Paul Jennings, a volunteer duty manager at the arts centre, said: “We are hoping, if there is interest, there will be one every month. “If it is a mixture it will interest more people. We’re not going to be prescriptive.
“There will be someone selling scarves and bags they have a lot of. We are looking forward to having a great mixture.”
The sale will have ten tables available, which cost £5 each. Sellers can also bring a table of their own for an extra £3 or pay an additional £5 to bring two tables.
People can set up their tables from 8am and the event will start at 9.30am and end at 1pm.
To book a table call into the arts centre or ring the venue on 01759 301547.
Pocklington Fairtrade and Local Produce Action Group (FLAG) will hold a coffee morning on the same day at the arts centre where it will provide Fairtrade tea and coffee.
