A NEW collection of work by a best selling artist has been on display at a Pocklington gallery.

The Acorn Gallery, on Market Place, has played host to the ‘ICON Collection’ by Paul Horton who appeared at the gallery to unveil each of his images.

Diane Wass, who runs the business with her husband John, said the collection is very special.

She said: “The collection is a very special edition as there are only 25 of each image available.

“On the day, each image was shrouded in black and unveiled piece by piece.

The audience was enthralled as Paul told the story behind each character and each iconic scene.”

Paul Horton has worked his way up from struggling artist to a hugely successful name in contemporary art. He has become renowned for producing art with an array of characters and street scenes.
