HUNDREDS turned up for the annual Bubwith Beer Festival, which has been described as the ‘best yet’.
The event, in its fifth year, was held at the Bubwith Centre which welcomed nearly 300 people through its doors.
There were 14 real ales on offer, along with five ciders and a choice of six bottled foreign beers.
Organised by Bubwith Tennis Club and Friends of Bubwith School, the festival included music from Dave Smith, a blues singer and guitarist from York and Reloaded who played rock and Indie covers, from Oasis to the Kaiser Chiefs.
There was also a hog roast, an auction and a raffle.
A spokesperson for the event said: “Many reported back that this festival was the best yet.
“Thanks to all those who organised the evening.” Funds raised on the day will be split between Bubwith Tennis Club, which is planning to build a new artificial grass court, and Friends of Bubwith School, which wants to create a new sensory garden.
