UWE Big Time American Wrestling hits The Futurist Theatre in Scarborough on Tuesday 9 August and Tuesday 23 August for a rollercoaster ride of body slams, suplexes and high flying spectaculars in a two-hour action packed family friendly extravaganza.

The American Invasion Squad will be looking to mark their territory in Scarborough, while trying to make sure this won’t happen will be the fan favourites, Team UK.

All the glitz and glamour of the TV phenomenon will be on show as matches include a heavyweight challenge, a tag team thriller, world championship match and the ever popular royal rumble.

‘Mr Sexy’ Mick Romeo - Standing 6’6 and weighing in at just over 250lbs - has been actively competing around the UK and Europe for the past 15 years. Romeo has held numerous championship belts and is currently the reigning UWE Champion.

‘Britain’s Number 1’ Bubblegum - The most popular member of Team UK is Britain’s number one wrestler. Popular with fans of all ages, Bubblegum brings an amazing high flying style to the ring. His quick, fast-paced style means that he is a handful for anyone who steps into the ring with him.

Another fan favourite scheduled to make an appearance is the American TV Star, The Wrestling Clown. He has been a feature on some of the largest wrestling shows in the world and is a regular on Sky Sports.

The Vampire Warrior - A bloodthirsty heavyweight representing the American Invasion Squad. Viken has been wrestling for over 10 years and is an unpopular member of the UWE Big Time crew. Hated everywhere he goes, make sure you boo as loud as you can at this nasty villain.
