An auction of more than 1,000 lots held at Melbourne Village Hall proved extremely popular.

Bidding remained competitive throughout the sale last Saturday and good prices were achieved for a wide variety of goods.

Organised by Chris Clubley and Co, the sale started in usual fashion with an eclectic mix outdoors, including a late 19th century mangle, a vintage pram restoration project and a wide variety of garden items. The lots were fiercely fought over by the large number in attendance.
